A Malaysian has taken the internet by storm after revealing that content creators can earn up to RM80,000 for just three pieces of content.
In a recent video, TikTok user @kerjazz, also known as Adalyna, recounted a recent lunch with a friend who works in the media industry.
According to Adalyna, her friend disclosed that their company had just signed a contract to pay an agency RM80,000 for three pieces of content.
When I heard that, I was stunned, completely speechless. Imagine, you can get RM80,000 for just 3 pieces of content.
I’m talking about 3 pieces of content, not 30. So that means the value of one piece of content is over RM26,000,” she exclaimed
Adalyna highlighted the fact that the company signing the contract indicates the market’s willingness to pay such a price for content creation.

Towards the end of her video, it turned out to be a hiring video to expand her team.
She is currently looking for a video editor, content creator, content strategist, and live host to join her.
The video successfully attracted 427K views and more than 25K likes as of writing.
In the comment section with more than 800 responses, while some netizens happily introduced themselves for the job, some viewers stated that it’s really how the content marketing industry works nowadays.
“Yes, the price is really like that, but of course, it depends on who the person is… if you look for ‘xxxxx’, one piece of content already costs RM60k++.”
“It’s quite reasonable for mid-tier creators to get RM26k per content. Because of the shooting, editing, and brainstorming with their own team. And they have to pay their team as well. Kudos to that person.”
Some pointed out that maybe it’s time for the government to demand influencers to declare their income.
