A corporate annual dinner in Taiwan went viral after it was revealed that every staff member received an iPhone 17 Pro Max — without needing to enter any draw.
The gift was clearly displayed on a large screen during the event, with the message: “Employee gift reveal! iPhone 17 Pro Max – thank you for your contribution.”
Staff ID required for collection
Only those with valid employee IDs could collect the gift.
According to Nanyang Siang Pau, an event worker shared that around 200 people were present, while others mentioned there were 20+ tables with roughly 300 staff attending.

UDN Taiwan reported that despite the headline gift, there was still a lucky draw with a top cash prize of NT$101,000 (approx RM12.95k).
Even so, most attendees said the phones were the main highlight.
Social media reacts in awe
The news quickly went viral, with many netizens initially thought it was just a high-end lucky draw.
They were shocked to learn that everyone received a phone.

Comments poured in, with many calling it the “most insane year-end gift” and asking, “Are they hiring?”
One person who claimed to be staff said the crowd erupted in cheers when the phones were announced even though they had just bought a new one last year.
While others focused on flashy performances or selective prizes, this company’s decision to give the same high-value gift to all staff was praised as generous and fair.
It sparked new conversations online about how companies show appreciation to their teams.
