Who says you need a concert ticket to have a blast? Not the Coldplay fans outside Bukit Jalil Stadium, that’s for sure.
While over 75,000 fans packed the stadium for Coldplay’s first concert in Malaysia, a whole other concert was brewing outside.
Malaysian fans who couldn’t snag a ticket to the sold-out show, gathered outside in the rainy weather, creating their own version of a Coldplay concert.
Instead of moping about missing out, these fans embraced the music from the sidelines, singing along to hits like ‘Fix You’, ‘Paradise’, and ‘Yellow’

Concert spirit extended beyond the stadium’s confines
Video clips shared on social media show people amidst the echoing sounds of Coldplay’s hits, jumping to the music while clad in raincoats and holding umbrellas.

One TikToker, capturing this unique experience, shared that fans began gathering outside the venue from as early as 4:30 pm, staying until about 10:30 to 11:00 pm.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, he says that these fans, hailing from areas like Klang, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, and Cheras, employed various modes of transportation to join this unique celebration.
Despite not being inside the stadium, they found joy and vibrancy in the music, experiencing the concert’s energy and rhythm in their unique way.
