While not everyone is tech-savvy enough to promote their small businesses online, this cobbler uncle found a way to ask for support.
One netizen recently shared a heartwarming post in a Facebook group about his encounter with the uncle.
Goh was on his way to Maybank in Bandar Baru, Ampang, when the uncle approached him with a polite “Boss, boss.”
Intrigued, Goh stopped to listen. The uncle, who had just set up his cobbler stall, asked if Goh could help spread the word on Facebook. He had just started fixing shoes and replacing soles and hoped for a little help to get the word out.
Touched by the uncle’s request, Goh snapped a few photos and shared them online, hoping to bring some attention to the stall.
“It was tough watching him wait patiently for customers, hoping just one person would come by,” Goh shared.
He’s hoping this small gesture will bring in more business for the uncle.
