A TikTok video has recently gone super viral after it showed a fat cat trying to squeeze its way through the gap of a grille door and the frenzied panic that ensued when it realised it was too big for the gap.
Chonky cat nearly gets stuck while squeezing through grille door gap
In the 18-second clip shared by @malipnajmi, it showed him walking towards the grille door while his pet cat named ‘Kakak’ followed him closely at his heels.
Upon approaching the grille door, the cat proceeded to squeeze its body right through the gap, except that there was one problem: it was too fat to fit its entire frame through the gap.
In its attempt to forcefully fit its body through the gap, ‘Kakak’ began to struggle by kicking its legs in a frenzy before swinging along with the grille door to the left and tumbling backwards.
All throughout the hilarious clip, the owner remained calm and even taunted ‘Kakak’ from the sidelines, saying, “Can you fit through there? Ha, ha, ha, ha! Lailahaillallah.”
Netizens tickled by cat’s failed attempt
The clip has since racked up 4.7 million views at the time of writing, along with thousands of comments from netizens who couldn’t get enough of the cat’s antics.
One jokingly asked since when cows were allowed to be kept as pets inside the house.
Another commented on the OP’s calm reaction, remarking that based on his nonchalant response, this wasn’t the first time the cat had tried to squeeze its way through the door gap.
Even local hypermarket chain Mydin joined in the fun too, where it cheekily asked netizens to stop by its outlets to buy cat food for their furry companions.
