No father would dare to dream or imagine that their children wasn’t theirs, but instead have someone else’s blood coursing through their veins.
Tragically for one man in China, his worst nightmare became a reality when he discovered that his uncle, not him, was the biological father of his three daughters, eventually leading to a bitter divorce.
Chinese man finds out his uncle’s the dad of his 3 daughters
According to local media reports, the man named Zhou from Henan said he was married to his wife for 13 years and had three kids together.
He added he often spent a lot of time outside to work as he wanted to provide the best life for them and often sent money back to his wife and went home to be with his family whenever he could.
However, that would soon come crumbling down for Zhou, which all began with a remark made by a neighbour when Zhou confided in him following an argument with his second uncle:
Have you ever noticed that your eldest daughter resembles your uncle?”
Upon noticing that none of his children looked like him, Zhou took his daughters for a paternity test. To his horror, it was proven that he wasn’t their biological father.
Divorces wife over revelation
Shocked by the results, Zhou confronted his wife and uncle. While his uncle refused to take a DNA test, Zhou’s wife just remained silent.
In the end, Zhou filed for divorce and sought 150,000 yuan (approx. RM88,400) in compensation for being tricked into raising children that weren’t his.
After the divorce came into effect, Zhou’s ex-wife moved into the house of Zhou’s uncle to live with him.
It was also reported that in August of this year, Zhou’s ex-wife agreed to pay the 150,000 yuan over the course of 15 years, where she would pay 10,000 yuan (approx. RM5,800) annually.
