A shouting match between a China couple and a local man descended into violence after the former was confronted for cutting queue at a popular convenience store
According to a video which has gone viral online, it all began started when the couple reportedly tried to cut the queue, claiming they had queued from the middle of the line.
This inevitably annoyed a Malaysian man who was also lining up, causing him to tell them to get back in line.

A woman clad in a hijab also chimed in, where she was heard telling the couple, “You people from China shouldn’t be acting like this.”
However, this only caused the China couple to become visibly angry, where they argued they had been queuing up. In response, the man retorted, “You never lined up, what are you talking about?”

Things eventually spilled into an all-out brawl when the couple and the man decided to take their confrontation outside of the store, where the man was physically wrestled to the ground.
He was also punched several times at the back of the head by the China woman.

Eventually, the fight was broken up by several onlookers and the convenience store has yet to issue an official statement about the incident at the time of writing.

In the comment thread, netizens condemned the couple for resorting to violence instead of choosing to line up properly and giving their home country a bad name.
‘Punching locals is not gonna improve Chinaman reputation…like bro, you got got mad at locals’ perception of China then you go punch people. That just makes the issue worse.’

‘I’m speechless. They must be out of their minds ganging up and fighting an old man. Security is just watching and barely did anything to de-escalate the situation.’

Many also slammed the security guard, saying he should have done a better job of preventing the pair from fighting.
