A top ranking bank official in China shocked the nation with his despicable act of wrecking his son’s relationship with his girlfriend so that he could have her all to himself after marrying her.

According to a report by South China Morning Post (SCMP), Liu Lian’ge, the former president of Bank of China, had expressed disapproval of his son’s girlfriend when he first introduced her to the family.
His reason? He claimed that she wasn’t suitable for a family of their background.
Following Liu’s relentless calls to break up, his son finally caved in and gave up on the relationship.
However, the real twist of the knife came six months later when Liu’s son discovered that Liu, who had divorced and remarried three times, took his ex-girlfriend to become his wife.
Needless to say, this betrayal caused Liu’s son to spiral into chronic depression.
Described as ‘morally corrupt’
Liu’s promiscuity was an open secret among Chinese officials, where he was described as “morally corrupt” — a term reserved for those who have three or more mistresses.
Additionally, he was said to have engaged in multiple affairs and often called female subordinates to his office for late-night “heart-to-heart chats”.
Public records also showed that Liu had married four times, where his partners would be younger and more beautiful than the previous one.
As for his son’s ex-girlfriend, Liu’s fourth wife, she was known to be the youngest and prettiest of them all.
In October, Liu was accused of accepting large amount of bribes and being involved in illegal activities, leading him to be expelled from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
He was later sentenced to death by the Jinan Intermediate People’s Court in Shandong province on Nov 26.
However, the sentence came with a two-year reprieve, meaning that it will only be carried out if Liu is caught breaking the law during that period.
