Chamrun Digital is driving exciting changes in how Malaysia’s government uses artificial intelligence (AI) to address real-world challenges.

At the recent ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025 held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Dr. Behrang Parhizkar, Group CEO of Chamrun Digital, presented a variety of AI projects currently in development.

These projects focus on overcoming pressing public sector challenges, from operational bottlenecks to service delivery gaps.
The initiatives demonstrate the important role technology can play in improving government operations and enhancing citizen services.
We are working closely with government officials on a range of practical, high-impact solutions that are now in discussion, design, and early implementation stages.

Currently, there are 22 ongoing AI projects designed to tackle challenges across various sectors in Malaysia.

One of the key initiatives focuses on strengthening food security. A centralised AI-powered crop intelligence system is being developed to predict supply-demand trends, optimise import–export planning, and strengthen food security.
Another is an AI assistant to personalise visitor engagement, streamline event management, and optimise tourism promotion strategies.
Meanwhile, Chamrun Digital is also developing welfare monitoring solutions using Agentic AI to track cases, detect early warning signs, and provide data-backed recommendations for rapid citizen support interventions.
“Once ready, these solutions will be tested through targeted pilot projects, seamless cross-agency integration, and eventually rolled out nationwide. ultimately nationwide.
