In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) has introduced the Alumni Circle by SJMC- the first-ever alumni club established by a hospital in Malaysia.
Open for complimentary lifetime membership, the club serves as a professional networking platform exclusively for individuals born at the hospital and aged 20 years and above.
This initiative seeks to reconnect this unique community through meaningful events and exclusive privileges, creating a living legacy that celebrates their shared heritage and strengthens bonds across generations.

To commemorate the launch, SJMC hosted a lively Pickleball Workshop in early July, bringing together the inaugural batch of Alumni Circle members.
From over 2,000 sign-ups, the first 48 confirmed alumni were invited to this debut gathering, an event that perfectly embodied the club’s mission to offer thoughtfully curated lifestyle experiences that go beyond traditional healthcare.
Members enjoyed learning and playing this trending sport, meeting fellow alumni, and forging connections that bridged both younger and older generations.
Building on the enthusiastic response, the club subsequently organised a hands-on CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) session during the SJMC “Timeless Together: A Day for All Generations” Health & Wellness Carnival in October.
Registered alumni participated in the session to learn essential life-saving techniques and wellness tips from SJMC’s paramedic experts, further underscoring the hospital’s commitment to empowering the community through knowledge and practical skills.
