Car wash worker mistakenly steps on accelerator
Kuala Lumpur traffic investigation and enforcement department chief Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa later revealed that the incident, which took place around 5.38pm yesterday (June 15) was caused by the gas pedal being stepped on by mistake.
He said initial investigations found that a car wash worker, who was driving the Toyota Camry at the time, was attempting to park the car after washing it when he accidentally stepped on the gas pedal.
This caused the car to smash right through the parking lot wall before falling off and landing on two parked cars below, reported Sin Chew Daily.

Following the fall, the car wash worker sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the case under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
