A romantic Valentine’s Day morning in Johor turned into a high-stakes police chase when a suspicious yellow car tried to evade capture, culminating in a dramatic arrest at a busy intersection.
The incident occurred in the town of Kluang and the Kampung Melayu area, leaving witnesses stunned.
Armed police forcefully apprehend driver
The chase was caught on video and uploaded to the Facebook page “Update info semasa,” showing the yellow car ramming into a black sedan at a red light in a desperate bid to escape.
However, the driver’s efforts were in vain as a police vehicle quickly boxed in the suspect’s car, trapping it between multiple law enforcement vehicles.
In the footage, heavily armed police officers are seen surrounding the suspect’s car.
One officer aggressively kicks open the driver’s door while pointing a firearm at the suspect.
The driver, who did not resist or brandish any weapon, was swiftly pulled from the car and subdued.
Bystanders Capture Terrifying Moments
Eyewitnesses filmed the intense encounter, including the moment the black sedan was hit by the fleeing suspect.
It is suspected that the driver of the black car may have been a woman of Chinese ethnicity, who appeared visibly shaken by the sudden impact.
The fear escalated when she saw police with guns drawn and anticipated the possibility of gunfire.
In her panic, she apparently ran to a nearby sidewalk, seeking safety.

As of now, Kluang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Balin has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
