Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said when questioned, the lorry driver confessed to jumping out of the vehicle prior to the crash but reiterated he only did so due to brake failure.

Police have also taken statements from five other individuals, including the lorry driver’s boss, who owns the vehicle.
