1. Extending JPJ Operating Hours by 1 hour

  • To accommodate the growing demand for services at the Road Transport Department (JPJ), operating hours will be extended by an additional hour.
  • This move aims to ease congestion during peak periods, provide greater flexibility for the public to access essential services, and cater to individuals with tight schedules.

2. Building a New UTC in Seberang Perai

  • A new Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) will be established in Seberang Perai, enhancing the accessibility of government services in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.
  • This new center will reduce travel time for residents, centralize services under one roof, and stimulate local economic activities by attracting more foot traffic.

3. Expanding Queue Management System (QMS) across all UTCs

  • The Queue Management System (QMS) will be rolled out across all existing UTCs, creating a seamless experience for visitors by reducing wait times and improving service flow.
  • With the QMS expansion, citizens will be able to book appointments digitally, monitor their queue status in real time, and avoid unnecessary delays.

4. Implementing the MADANI Touch Kiosk

  • The introduction of the MADANI Touch Kiosk aims to enhance self-service capabilities for a variety of public services, aligning with the government’s push towards digitalization.
  • Citizens can conveniently access services like license renewals, payment of bills or fines, and information retrieval through user-friendly kiosks at selected locations.

5. Introducing iPayment at Government Counters

  • The integration of iPayment solutions at government counters will enable cashless transactions, offering citizens the convenience of paying via e-wallets, debit/credit cards, or other digital platforms.
  • This initiative not only modernizes public service payment systems but also aligns with the government’s digital economy goals, promoting a cashless society while enhancing transparency and reducing transaction time.
