If you’ve been stocking up on Massimo bread for breakfast or tea time, you might want to pace yourself for now.

On April 3, Massimo announced that there will be a temporary disruption in bread production starting April 4, 2025, following a gas pipeline explosion that happened in Putra Heights on April 1.

Due to the incident, the LNG gas supply to the factory has been suspended by their supplier, halting production efforts while restoration work is underway.

As a result, Massimo’s popular bakery products will be limited in stores until further notice.

In their statement, the company said they “deeply regret any disappointment this may cause” and thanked customers for their patience and understanding.

They also urged fans to stay tuned to their social media pages for updates and to contact their customer support line at 1-800-22-6688 for any urgent concerns.

One Facebook commenter summed it up best:

Doesn’t matter as long everyone is safe. Life is the most important thing.”
