The official launch of the iPhone 17 series at Apple Store The Exchange TRX saw not just local excitement, but also international attention.
One of the first in line for walk-in was a customer who flew in all the way from Bangladesh. Yes, you read that right!

Arrived two days earlier, queued before 4am
MD Tushar Ahmed Hasan travelled from Bangladesh to Kuala Lumpur specifically to get the new iPhone 17 Pro Max, where he arrived in Malaysia two days before the launch.
I came from Bangladesh. I came here to buy a new phone. I bought one 17 Pro Max Cosmic Orange,” he told WeirdKaya.
On Thursday morning, he received his queue handband before 11am and returned to the store before 4am to secure his spot in the queue today.

Tushar added he was the first walk-in customer and waited more than four hours to get his hands on the latest iPhone.
Drawn by the camera upgrades
Tushar shared that he was excited about the new camera system.
I like the camera…I heard the center stage will auto-adjust when more people come in. Also, it takes zoom — ultra zoom,” he said.

When asked how he felt after getting his phone, he simply said: “Unbelievable.”
Tushar also shared that he only purchased one unit for himself and not for other people.
Malaysia joins global Day 1 launch for the 1st time
This year marks the second time Malaysia is part of Apple’s first batch of countries to receive the latest iPhone on launch day.
The Apple Store TRX opened its doors at 8am to a long line of eager local and internation customers.
