Before you hit the road, take 2 minutes to save this because in an emergency, having the right number at the right time can make all the difference.

From car breakdowns to accidents or medical situations, these are things you *don’t want to figure out on the spot.*

## 1. Main emergency hotline (Save this first)

If you’re facing a serious situation like an accident, crime, or medical emergency:

**Call 999 (MERS – Malaysian Emergency Response Services)**

- Ambulance / Medical services

- Fire & Rescue (Bomba)

- Civil Defence (APM)

- Maritime Enforcement (APMM)

**Tip:** Stay calm and give your exact location (highway kilometre marker or nearby landmark).

## 2. Highway breakdown? Call these instead

- Turn on hazard lights
