No one likes to wait in a long queue in order to make a purchase, but nothing infuriates one more when another person in line decides or tries to jump the queue.
A tourist from China recently faced the wrath of a group of Malaysian Chinese after he allegedly jumped the queue at a popular toy collectibles store in KL.

China tourist jumps queue at KL Pop Mart
In a 43-second video shared on the Malaysian subreddit r/Malaysia, it showed a long line of customers waiting in front of Malaysia’s first ever Pop Mart store located at Pavilion KL.
According to the caption, a tourist from China had jumped the queue and unsurprisingly, this caused much discontent among the other customers.
Based on the clip, the person who cut the queue was a young bespectacled man clad in a white t-shirt and carrying a black sling bag.

When the other customers caught wind of what the tourist did, they began to boo loudly, with one dude protesting by using a phrase we Malaysian Chinese know all too well:
Balik China lah! (Go back to China!)
Obviously, this remark angered the China tourist more, who gave a deadly stare at the dude who told him off and was ready for a physical confrontation.
But this backfired on him as his response turned the entire crowd against him, who booed waved their hands at him, as if to tell him he wasn’t welcomed there. Bye, Felicia vibes there?

‘Truly a 1Malaysia phrase’
In the comment section, netizens were amused by how the crowd handled the situation, with one joking that the phrase usually used in racist terms could now be used by all races.

Another said that it was rare to see the local Chinese coming together to “take out the trash”. Oof.

Meanwhile, others said that this wasn’t surprising for them, given the unhygenic and disgusting habits done by China tourists in Malaysia and abroad.
