Inspired by the hit Korean drama ‘Queen of Tears,’ starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, KL’s Aquaria KLCC has launched a series of romantic proposal packages that have fans buzzing.
In the drama, the protagonist’s underwater proposal scene has left many fans dreaming of their own fairytale moment.
Recently, a user on social media platform X, @melatinungsari, shared about Aquaria KLCC’s latest offering – a chance to propose underwater, just like in the show, without needing to fly to Korea.
This unique experience has sparked heated discussions among netizens.
One netizen humorously commented, “Proposing with sharks around reminds me of that iconic scene from ‘Queen of Tears’.”
Other users added their thoughts: “Even if the proposal fails, at least you’ve experienced diving with sharks,” and “Proposing in a shark cage sounds as intense as a WWE match.”
According to a promotional video on Aquaria KLCC’s Instagram, the aquarium offers three proposal packages: the Romance Proposal, the Cage Rage Proposal, and the Dive with Sharks Proposal.
- The Romance Proposal costs RM850.
- The Cage Rage Proposal is priced at RM1150.
- The Dive with Sharks Proposal is RM1550, including a bouquet and chocolates.
Located on the lower level of KLCC’s Convention Centre, Aquaria KLCC spans 60,000 square feet and showcases over 5000 species from Malaysia and around the world, including tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, freshwater fish, and the majestic shark.
