If you are planning to get your hands on the iPhone 17, you might want to set your alarm clock a little earlier.
Apple The Exchange TRX has announced that it will be opening at 8am on Friday for the highly anticipated iPhone 17 launch.

Normally, the store opens at 10am, in line with the mall’s usual operating hours.
However, with the iPhone 17 drawing huge crowds worldwide, Apple is making an exception to give fans a head start.
Store extends opening hours for launch day
According to Apple’s official website, Apple The Exchange TRX will operate from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm on launch day.

This two-hour head start is expected to accommodate the massive demand and long lines as Apple enthusiasts rush to be among the first to own the new iPhone.
Long queues expected
As it is with any iPhone launch, long queues are almost guaranteed. Tech fans are likely to line up outside the store well before opening time, hoping to secure their preferred model before stocks run out.
Those planning to join the queue are advised to arrive early, stay hydrated, and be prepared for the wait. Good luck!

If you think waking up at 7.30 am to queue is hardcore here – there’s a pretty wild story from China that might just make you laugh (and maybe a little jealous).
A boss there, by the name Tim Pan, decided not to just let employees drool over the iPhone 17.
Nope. Right after launch he announced in the company’s internal chat that every single staff member and intern will get a FREE iPhone 17 Pro Max. Taxes included. Doesn’t matter if you just joined today or are an intern.
This is not their first time giving away phones: last year the same company gave all staff iPhone 16 Pros.
So while you’re lining up at Apple The Exchange TRX hoping to be first in line think about this, somewhere a boss is already writing a cheque for a wall of iPhone 17 Pro Max units.
