Reputation damaged by false claims

Additionally, Anwar said that Razman’s remarks had damaged his reputation as PKR president, Harapan chairperson, Tambun MP, and Malaysia’s 10th prime minister.

Malaysiakini reported that Anwar alleged he was exposed to severe mental distress, anxiety, and shame as a result of the false statements.

Along with the lawsuit, a letter of demand was filed as well, where it seeks a public apology, RM5 million in damages and a written assurance from Razman that he won’t repeat the allegations again.
