On the final day, we were honoured to welcome YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, who visited booths, engaged with participants, and presented prizes to the top three winners, making the day even more memorable. Her inspiring speech highlighted the bright future of esports in Malaysia.

This incredible event was made possible thanks to our valued partners: Unifi Mobile, Official Presenter, ZTE | nubia Malaysia, Official Smartphone, and Safi, Official Personal Care.

Their booths and contributions enriched the Grand Finals experience for all attendees. We also deeply appreciate our partners who supported the tour, including our strategic partners, Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF), Esports Integrated, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports; our State Finals broadcast partner, Asia Pacific University (APU); our Official Radio Station, HotFM; our Official Venue, Berjaya Times Square; and our supportive partners, F&N Malaysia and Midea Scott & English Electronics.

With that said, in a stunning showcase of skill, Vampire Songlap from Perlis emerged as the National Champion, taking home the grand prize of RM20,000.

Gamesmy Esport from Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and PTSB Esport from Kedah secured second and third places, winning RM15,000 and RM12,000, respectively, completing an unforgettable lineup of winners.

National Champion Team – Vampire Songlap, Perlis.
1st runner up – Gamesmy Esport, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
2nd runner up – PTSB Esport, Kedah.

The event’s energy was unmatched, with passionate fans cheering for their favourite teams and creating an incredible atmosphere. Season 3 set a new benchmark for esports in Malaysia, signalling even greater things to come.

Adding to the celebration, CRIT Esports Malaysia received a prestigious Malaysia Book of Records recognition for organizing the Largest Varsity Esports Tournament, involving 109 universities nationwide—exceeding the initial target of 100 activations.

We had the pleasure of having YB Hannah Yeoh sign on the certificate as a witness to the award, which was then received by both founders of CRIT Esports, Mr. Randy Lim and Mr. Joshua Lew on stage, marking a monumental achievement for the team and the Malaysian esports community.

Partner Booths and Activations Elevate the ACS EDU Tour Grand Finals

The entire ACS EDU Tour has been made even more impactful with the initiatives and support of our partners, from being on-ground with us at the University Qualifiers stage, to travelling with us to the State Qualifiers from East to West Malaysia.

Firstly, Unifi Mobile has been a key partner in empowering over 6000 players with 5G & 4G data via Unifi Mobile’s UNI5G WOW Prepaid packs during the tour. This provided the participants and the gaming community with great mobile connectivity enabling an immersive 5G gaming experience anytime, anywhere.

Alongside Unifi Mobile, Unifi TV has also made this experience accessible to a broader audience through broadcasting the State and the 2 day live-event Grand Finals on Unifi TV’s new dedicated sports channel: Unifi Esports (Channel 702), accessible by all Malaysians.

This was a first for CRIT, as it reflected Unifi’s support for Malaysia’s esports industry and showcasing young gaming professionals.

ZTE | nubia was another driving force on the tour where they, alongside CRIT, started an anti-bullying campaign titled ‘Scream For Charity’ that featured an actual scream machine at each University venue where participants would make a donation and shout into the machine to complete the meaningful act.

Through this engaging activity, we were able to make a donation of RM 10,000 to a local NGO, Monsters Among Us (MAU) whose focus is combating systemic violence against children.

We’d also like to commend Safi for their efforts in empowering female players during the ACS EDU Tour, Season 3.

Beyond providing branded giveaways, they supported all-female teams with a 3-month supply of products, including Safi Shayla Hair & Hijab Parfum Mist and Safi Hijabista Whitening Deodorant.

Their commitment to inclusivity in esports aligns with our shared vision for the industry’s growth.

On-ground ACS EDU Tour, Season 3 Activities

The energy on-ground at Berjaya Times Square on both days was amplified by stunning performances, including mesmerizing vocals from CRIT talent Muna Shahirah, who pulled some heartstrings with her emotional performances.

To add to the Grand Finals, there was also a high-energy flash mob by Art Berat Sesh (ABS) and dynamic routines from Team Malaysia Cheerleading, both presented by CRIT Esports, Unifi Mobile and ZTE | nubia. Together, they created a truly vibrant and unforgettable atmosphere.

To celebrate the competitive spirit of esports, CRIT hosted a star-studded 8v8 Team Deathmatch showdown featuring KOLs in partnership with ZTE | nubia.

Additionally, a special all-hijabi girl team PUBGM match, held in collaboration with Safi, highlighted female empowerment in esports, adding to the entertainment of the event.

To further add to the festivities of the days, fans also enjoyed exciting rewards – including a 2024 Yamaha PG-1 motorcycle contest with one lucky winner driving away with the bike and an all-expenses-paid trip to London for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, awarded to three winners who also received custom winter jackets sponsored by CRIT exclusively for Unifi Mobile customers.

Looking Ahead

As this season closes, CRIT Esports Malaysia is already gearing up for an even more exhilarating future with new games, fresh approaches, and exciting rewards for gamers of all backgrounds.
