TASEK GELUGOR – Delivery riders, very much the unsung heroes during the pandemic, have gone far and wide to send meals to our doorstep both rain and shine.
However, one rider named Khairul Hamizan Mustafa went the second mile by making roti canai alongside a vendor by the roadside.

The vendor, who owned a stall at Kubang Terong, Tasik Gelugor, had several orders waiting for him and struggled to keep up as he was new to Foodpanda’s services.
When Hamizan arrived at the stall, he saw four other delivery riders waiting to pick up their orders and decided to help the elderly man.

Hidden talent
Having made roti canai since he was 12, Hamizan wasted little time and got to work immediately.
My parents sell roti canai at a stall in Pokok Sena, Kepala Batas and are still in business.

“I used to help my parents with their business during my school holidays, especially on weekends,” he told Malay Mail.
His kind actions was captured by fellow colleague and later uploaded to TikTok, garnering 1.1 million views and 139.9K likes.
