A sweet on-stage moment has stolen the spotlight and won over Malaysian netizens.
In a now-viral clip, Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman was seen handing a rose to popular Malaysian singer Bella Astillah and his thoughtful gesture had everyone swooning.
The video, shared by pttionline on Instagram, shows Syed Saddiq seated casually at the corner of a stage stairway.
As Bella stood at the centre of the stage with her guitar, Syed got up with a soft pink rose in hand and politely offered it to her.
He even gave a slight bow while presenting it, prompting cheers and adoration from the audience.
Bella, clearly caught off-guard, blushed and gave a shy little stomp, a moment many fans described as “too cute to handle.”

Needless to say, the comment section exploded with fans calling Syed a true gentleman.
Many were seen rewatching the moment over and over again, with some even saying it reminded them of their teenage years.
