A little Disney magic has officially arrived in Southeast Asia.
Yesterday (Mar 3), the highly anticipated Disney Adventure made a spectacular entrance into Singapore, marking a historic moment as Disney Cruise Line’s first ship to homeport in Asia.
As the massive ship approached Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, it was welcomed with a dramatic water salute and a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the evening sky, setting the stage for a brand-new chapter in cruise vacations across the region.
Disney Adventure will sail from Singapore starting March 10
The Disney Adventure will begin its maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10, 2026, offering three- and four-night cruises at sea designed for families, Disney fans, and travellers of all ages.
Drawing from more than 100 years of Disney storytelling, the ship brings together beloved worlds from Disney, Pixar and Marvel through immersive experiences onboard.
Guests can expect:
• Broadway-style live entertainment
• Beautifully themed dining experiences
• Wonderfully designed Disney-inspired accommodations
• Cool attractions and activities for both kids and adults
According to Joe Schott, President of Disney Signature Experiences, the launch represents a major milestone for the cruise line’s global expansion.
The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our global expansion, introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the very first time,” he said.
Seven themed areas, Marvel rides & brand new shows
The ship features seven themed zones, each offering different attractions, entertainment and experiences.
Guests onboard can look forward to a range of exciting entertainment, including Ironcycle Test Run, a Marvel-themed attraction that will be the longest rollercoaster ever built at sea.
The ship will also feature “Remember,” a brand new musical spectacular created exclusively for the Disney Adventure, as well as “Duffy and the Friend Ship,” a family-friendly stage show filled with original songs and beloved characters.
Guests can also explore nearly 17,000 square feet of retail space, with several stores debuting on Disney Cruise Line ships for the first time, including:
• World of Disney store
• National Geographic Store
• Duffy and Friends Shop
Expect Asian food favourites and even bubble tea
Food lovers will also have plenty to look forward to.
In addition to Disney Cruise Line’s signature international cuisine, the ship will introduce regional Asian dishes and drinks, including bubble tea, bringing flavours that travellers in Asia know and love.
Singapore chosen as Asia’s cruise hub
The decision to base Disney Adventure in Singapore highlights the country’s growing role as Asia Pacific’s leading cruise hub.
In 2025 alone, Singapore’s cruise industry recorded:
• Over 2 million passengers
• 375 ship calls
The Disney Adventure will be homeported in Singapore for at least five years, a move expected to boost tourism and attract more travellers to the region.
Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, said the partnership is an exciting step forward.
Disney Cruise Line’s decision to homeport their newest ship in Singapore is a testament to our appeal as a premier cruise destination,” she said.
Disney Cruise Line expanding rapidly
The Disney Adventure launch also comes during a major expansion period for Disney’s cruise business.
The company plans to grow its fleet to 13 ships by 2031, following recent launches including the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
With Singapore now serving as a home base, travellers in Asia will soon have easier access to Disney’s signature cruise experience without flying halfway across the world.
