Proving this statement, a 86-year-old Malaysian man successfully won the heart of his beloved after a year of pursuit, and they are now happily married.

Abdullah Ali recently opened up to Sinar Harian, sharing the enchanting tale of how he passionately pursued his now-wife, Siti Zabidah Zakaria’s affection for an entire year.
He shared that winning his 63-year-old wife’s heart was no simple feat, particularly given her past marriages. Unfortunately, she had experienced the loss of both husbands – the first in 2003 and the second in 2021.
Due to these emotional experiences, the idea of marrying again hadn’t occurred to her.
“Even though been rejected, I did not give up.” he explained.
Sharing more about his wife, he expressed that her gentle and kind nature captivated him, and the shared experience of living alone forged a natural connection between the couple.
Fate had different plans
“For a year, I tried to win her heart, and thankfully, our fate aligned, and we were happily united” he shared.
Abdullah’s determination paid off, and the couple happily got married at Masjid Al-Abrar, Mukim Pauh Sembilan recently.
Furthermore, the couple’s children wholeheartedly supported and gave their blessings for their parents’ marriage.

Abdullah, a farmer by profession, emphasizes the joy he finds in taking Siti Zabidah for leisurely outings, cherishing the moments they spend together.
