7yo SG boy flung out from car after lorry driver rams into it
According to Johor Bahru South District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, he said initial investigations found the lorry driver was travelling from Masai towards the city centre.

“While driving, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer into the oncoming lane before colliding with a Singapore-registered car driven by a 44-year-old man.
“The collision caused the boy, who was seated at the back, to be thrown out of the vehicle,” he said.
Raub added police were later informed of the boy’s death at around 3am today, where he passed away while being treated at a private hospital.
A total of five people were inside the car prior to the accident, where four of them were Singaporeans and one an Indonesian.

Tested positive for meth, had no driving license
Raub said police have since arrested the lorry driver, who was found to have methamphetamine in his system.
Checks also revealed that he did not possess a driving license or vocational license and was found to be driving with an expired road tax.
