The manager of a welfare home in Johor Bahru has taken to social media to share about how a young boy was allegedly assaulted by the father of a classmate.
In fact, the assault was so brutal that the boy was sent hurling right into a wall, leaving him understandably shaken and traumitised.
7yo boy sent flying into wall after getting kicked 3 times
According to a Facebook post by Herman Sudil, who’s the manager of TBQ Amal Welfare Organisation, he wrote the 7-year-old was an orphan who lives at the TBQ Amal welfare home in Johor.
He then went into the details of the alleged abuse, where he claimed the boy became a victim of assault at the hands of his classmate’s father after he reportedly disturbed the latter at school.
He was kicked three times until he was thrown against the wall—this 7-year-old TBQ child—just because he disturbed your child at school?
“No matter how mischievous a child is at school, let the school handle it. It shouldn’t be a grown man who has greater physical strength kicking the student!”
Herman added he had told witnesses to file a police report as the classmate’s father also threatened to hit the boy if he disturbed his child in the future.
“Imagine if every parent went to school and beat up those who disturbed their children—what would happen? What if your child was the naughty one, and I came and kicked him three times? Would you accept that?” he fumed.
Had a traumatic past
Herman went on to reveal that the boy was sent to TBQ Amal by the Social Welfare Department (JKM) and that lots of effort had been put in to help him move on from his childhood trauma.
“Now you think you can just beat him up like he has no guardians? Just because he comes from a welfare home, do you think you can treat him like that? Do you think he has no one to love and care for him?
“I have a video of the boy crying after being kicked and I simply cannot see kids like him being beaten like this,” he wrote.
Police investigating
Sinar Harian later reported that a police report was lodged over the incident and the case is now being investigated.
It also reported that the boy suffered bruises from the assault and was sent to the hospital for treatment and to determine whether he suffered any internal injuries too.
