Had worked in S’pore for over 25 years

According to the victim’s daughter Xiang, she told Mothership that her father, who hailed from Perak, had worked in Singapore for more than 25 years.

His most recent job across the Causeway was as a tower crane technician.

Xiang said her father travelled across the Malaysia-Singapore border everyday and had never gotten into an accident before, adding that he was killed on the spot in the accident that involved several other motorcyclists.

Meanwhile, Iskandar Puteri district police chief Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan confirmed the incident, saying that one was killed while five others were injured, reported The Star.

The case is now being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
