50% Toll Discount From 14-15 Feb For CNY Celebration

Toll discount.
To ease traffic and help Malaysians celebrate Chinese New Year 2026, the government has announced a 50% toll discount for two days.

Toll rebate starts 12.01 am on Feb 14 and ends 11.59 pm on Feb 15

According to the Works Ministry, this discount will apply to all private Class 1 vehicles on highways across Malaysia, starting 12.01 am on Feb 14, 2026 (Saturday) and ending 11.59 pm on Feb 15, 2026 (Sunday).

The move is expected to benefit those travelling back to their hometowns or heading out for holidays during the festive period.

However, the discount does not apply to toll plazas at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and the Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza on the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link.

The selected dates aim to avoid peak traffic congestion while improving highway operations and logistics, including the use of rest stops (RSA).

Public advised to plan routes using MyPLUS-TTA and TuJu apps

Drivers are advised to use apps such as MyPLUS-TTA and TuJu Highway Navigation to plan their trips, avoid traffic jams, and improve safety on the road.

All road users are reminded to follow traffic signs, drive within speed limits, and pay attention to real-time updates via Variable Message System (VMS) boards.

For those using Smart Lanes, early lane changes are recommended for smoother travel.
