Going for a job interview is the last hurdle that stands in candidates’ way as getting over it would mean that they have a better chance of securing the job.
Unfortunately for one job candidate, she wasn’t given a chance to “market” herself to the interviewers no thanks to an extremely brief interview session.
Only lasted 5 minutes
In a Threads post, the OP wrote that she was called for a job interview, one she described as “the shortest interview of her life.”
According to her, the entire session lasted for five minutes and she wasn’t given an opportunity to share about her credentials or work experience.
After flipping through my resume for a bit, they said, ‘Sorry, your qualifications do not fit this position.’
“Why call me for an interview if I did not qualify in the first place? I even attached my resume in the application,” she lamented.
The OP then pleaded with netizens to hit her up if they knew of any job vacancies in the Klang area.

Netizens were full of sympathy for the OP and tried their best to comfort her over the disastrous interview session.
They also slammed the company for not doing their due diligence before calling the OP for an interview.
Another shared how he was called for an interview but none of the interviewers read his resume and rejected him upfront.
“They called me just to make a statement, opened the interview, but there was no suitable candidate,” he added.
Another said that candidates should be allowed to call out interviewers on the spot for wasting their precious time if they never had the intention to hire new staff in the first place.
