A young man in Penang lost his life in a road accident that saw him getting thrown right into a drain after he lost control of his motorcycle and fell from it.
According to a report by Kosmo, the incident took place along Jalan Siram in Butterworth at around 4.06am yesterday morning (Nov 15).

The Malay daily reported that the victim was 36-year-old R. Kishore Kumar, who was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries.

Penang Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of firefighting and rescue operations, John Sagun Francis, said a team of firefighters from the Butterworth Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call.
When they arrived, they found a Honda RS150 motorcycle which was believed to have skidded off the road shoulder, causing the victim to be flung right into a two-metre deep drain.
Firefighters then proceeded to extricating the victim from the drain but discovered that he had already passed away.
The body was later handed over to police for further action.
