Members of the local pickleball community were left shaken after a man fell to his death during a pickleball game in Pudu on Tuesday (Dec 2).
According to NST, the 32-year-old victim is believed to have attempted to retrieve a ball before he slipped and fell from the third floor.
Wangsa Maju police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail said a report was made regarding the tragedy at 9.43pm.

“Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim had been playing pickleball on the third floor before the fall. He climbed over a fence next to the court to retrieve a ball when he slipped and fell to the ground floor.”
The case has been ruled as sudden death (SDR) and the victim’s body has been sent for a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the venue where the incident took place took to its Instagram page to express its condolences.

Saying that it was “deeply saddened” by the tragedy, it called upon the public to show understanding and compassion as it respects the privacy of the victim’s family and loved ones.
It also urged the public to avoid making speculations about the incident while the police carry out investigations into it.
