A 30-year-old man, Loong Chee Weng, has been reported missing after leaving home on Sunday morning for breakfast and failing to return, sparking concern among his family members who have since lodged a police report.
According to Petaling Jaya Deputy Police Chief Supt Husin, Loong was last seen at around 10.30am on July 7, when he informed his family that he was heading to Ming Tian Food Court in Bandar Utama for a meal.
However, he did not return home and has been uncontactable ever since. Police received a report about his disappearance at around 1.30pm the same day.
Seeking help from the public
Loong is described as being about 166 cm tall, weighing around 55 kg, with fair skin. He wears glasses and has a slightly prominent nose bridge. He is a resident of Sri Angkasa Garden in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.
Police are now appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have seen Loong or knows of his whereabouts is urged to visit the nearest police station or contact Investigating Officer Inspector Hafizul at 016-223 6804.
Information can also be relayed directly to the Damansara Police Station via 03-7722 2222.
Authorities are continuing their efforts to locate Loong, as more than 24 hours have passed without any sign of his return.
