A shocking three vehicle collision occurred near the North South Expressway exit at the Tambun toll plaza yesterday afternoon, leaving one vehicle in a roadside ditch and another overturned on the grass verge.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 3pm along the North South Expressway near the Bukit Tambun exit heading towards Juru.
White van allegedly swerves across lane divider
According to dashcam footage circulating online, a white van had just exited the toll plaza when it suddenly veered to the right.
The van is seen crossing over the lane dividing barrier before crashing directly into a grey pickup truck that was travelling straight in the adjacent lane.

The impact appears forceful, sending the grey pickup off balance.
Chain reaction crash unfolds within seconds
Following the initial collision, the grey pickup lost control and slammed into a blue pickup travelling nearby, triggering a chain reaction crash.

The grey pickup was then seen veering off the road and plunging into a large drain beside the highway.
Meanwhile, the blue pickup flipped over on impact and reportedly rolled once before coming to a stop on the grassy roadside.
Surprisingly, the white van believed to have caused the accident did not appear to suffer significant visible damage in the footage.
Injuries unknown, investigation ongoing
At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement, and further investigations are expected to determine the exact cause of the crash.
