A tragic murder has shaken the University of Cyberjaya community after a 20-year-old student was found dead in her condominium unit.
All three suspects allegedly knew the victim

Three individuals believed to be connected to the case have been arrested and remanded for seven days until 3 July.
Reported by FMT, to Sepang district police chief Norhizam Bahaman, all three – a man and two women aged between 19 and 20 – were known to the victim, Maniishapriet Kaur Akhara.
The trio were apprehended in a special operation carried out in two locations: Johor Bahru, Johor, and Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan.
Arrests took place between 9am yesterday and 2am today.
Body discovered in condo Unit
Maniishapriet, a student at the University of Cyberjaya, was discovered lifeless in her condominium unit at around 10am on 24 June by a friend.
It was reported that she had been staying in the unit with five other students, who had all returned to their hometowns for the holidays on 21 June.
Cause of death, blunt force trauma
An autopsy confirmed that Maniishapriet had died due to blunt force trauma to the head.
Police also reportedly stated there were no signs of forced entry into her home and ruled out sexual assault, as there were no injuries consistent with rape.
Court issues remand order
Sessions court judge Azaraorani Abdul Rahman granted the seven-day remand order earlier this morning.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to uncover the full circumstances behind the young student’s death.
