A tragic case involving a family of three was discovered in Kedah after police received a report past midnight and rushed to a house in Kampung Zainol Abidin, Bedong.
Kuala Muda district police chief ACP Hanyan Ramlan said the victims were a married couple, aged 65 and 53, and their 29-year-old son.
Bodies found inside locked house
Police found the house locked from the inside when they arrived at about 12.00 am.
Inside, the couple were found dead in the house, while their son was discovered in an upstairs room with a neck injury.

According to China Press, initial observations suggest the parents had died about 48 hours earlier, while the son is believed to have died more recently.
Potential murder-suicide
Authorities also found several sharp objects near the son’s body.
Police believe the 29-year-old, who reportedly had depression, may have attacked his parents before taking his own life when officers arrived.
The case came to light after a relative failed to contact the family since Monday night and asked neighbours to check on them.
Police are continuing investigations to determine the full circumstances, including whether other elements were involved.
