Malaysian actress Saidah Kamarudin has opened up about why she ended her engagement with fellow actor Muhammad Muntazar Ghufran.
Breakup linked to financial concerns
The 29-year-old said she discovered her ex-fiancé had only RM500 in his bank account, which raised serious concerns about their future together.

She shared this in a recent mStar interview.
“How can you take care of someone with that amount?” she said.
You should be looking for a job or continuing your studies, not planning a wedding.”
The pair had been together for a year and got engaged in May 2024. They called off the engagement five months later in October.
Claims of social media misuse
Saidah also alleged that Muntazar accessed her TikTok account after their breakup.
She claimed he posted comments pretending to be her, one of which suggested she was still heartbroken and taking pills due to stress.
She said they used to share passwords but she changed them once they broke up.
Still, she believed he managed to gain access to her TikTok.
Saidah has since lodged a police report over the matter at the Setia Alam police station in Shah Alam on May 31.
Muntazar responds to allegations
In a separate mStar interview, Muntazar denied Saidah’s claims about his financial state.
He said he has money invested in unit trusts, which she dismissed as not being real savings.

He also questioned how he could afford monthly payments of RM1,000 for his car and support his family financially if he truly had only RM500 in cash.
Muntazar has not commented on the hacking allegation but previously said on Instagram that he prefers to remain silent about the matter.
