Authorities have taken action against a 28-year-old man for driving a luxury sports car without a valid driving licence.
A Chinese national who is also a content creator was caught after he was found driving a Lamborghini Aventador without a driving licence.

Sinar Harian reported that this incident took place during an integrated road operation conducted by enforcement authorities along Jalan Bangsar on Tuesday (Apr 8).
According to the Federal Territory Road Transport Department (JPJ) Kuala Lumpur Director, Hamidi Adam, the man was en route to Damansara Heights after attending a fast-food restaurant launch in Kepong.
His Lamborghini was among 27 vehicles seized during the operation, which saw a total of 1,627 vehicles inspected. Out of these, 211 were found to have committed various offences.
JPJ clarifies Lamborghini was not seized
Following initial reports, China Press reported that the Lamborghini Aventador driven by the Chinese national was confiscated during the operation.
However, JPJ Kuala Lumpur later issued a clarification on Wednesday stating that the luxury car was not seized.
In an official statement, the department confirmed that the male driver was only fined for driving without a valid licence. A licensed passenger was then allowed to drive the vehicle away from the scene.
The department also apologised for the confusion caused by the earlier incorrect information, expressing regret over the misunderstanding.
Multiple agencies involved in the operation

Hamidi explained that the large-scale operation involved 115 officers from various agencies including JPJ, the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), the Immigration Department (JIM), and the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK).
A total of 463 notices were issued, covering offences such as driving without a licence, not holding a vocational licence, expired road tax, lack of insurance, and illegal vehicle modifications.
JSPT checked 60 vehicles and issued 30 summonses. Meanwhile, JIM inspected 29 foreign nationals and detained three Indonesians—one man and two women—for further action. AADK also conducted drug screenings on 37 individuals, resulting in the arrest of two men and one woman who tested positive for cannabis.
Ongoing festive season enforcement
In a separate update, Hamidi shared that during the recent Special Hari Raya Aidilfitri Operation 2025 (Ops HRA), JPJ issued 4,559 notices for various traffic violations over a 14-day period from 24 March to 8 April.
The operation saw 15,490 vehicles inspected at key locations in the capital, including Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG), highways, and major roads. Out of this number, 1,729 vehicles were subject to enforcement, and 24 were seized under the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333).
These efforts are part of our strategy to reduce road accidents, especially during festive seasons, through strict enforcement and continuous advocacy,” he said.
