A 25-year-old man died after falling from the 20th floor of a condominium in Bukit Jalil when he attempted to climb over to his girlfriend’s unit.
The victim, identified as Tan Jin Qin (transliteration), was from Bidor, Perak.
He was said to have arrived at the condo around 3.30 am to see his girlfriend but failed to contact her.

Slipped and fell
Police said he then tried to climb along the wall ledge from a neighbouring unit.
Unfortunately, he slipped and fell, landing on the 9th floor.
He suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene.
Cheras police chief ACP Aidil Bolhassan told China Press that the incident was only discovered at 10.45 am.
The victim was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts when found.
Officers recovered his identification card, bank card, passport, and access card from his sling bag.
Police confirmed there were no criminal elements involved.
The body has been sent to the hospital for a post-mortem.
