The victim from Kuching, Sarawak, was found by a housemate at 10am, who immediately called the police.
According to sources, the victim was a Bachelor of Physiotherapy student who shared a condominium unit with five other individuals.
Prior to the murder, all five housemates returned home for the holidays since June 21, thus leaving the victim entirely by herself as she had to prepare for exams.

Sepang police chief, Assistant Commissioner Norhizam Bahaman said preliminary investigations found no signs of forced entry into the victim’s dorm.
He also added autopsy results from the Serdang Hospital Forensic Unit confirmed the victim had died due to blunt force trauma to the head and that no evidence of sexual assault was found.
This comes after multiple news portal claimed that the victim had been raped.

Victim’s ATM card stolen & used after murder

Aside from the ATM card, the victim’s laptop, mobile phone and cash were also reported missing.
Police are currently hunting down the suspect and gathering statements from eyewitnesses.
