A video showing two adult men scuffling and throwing punches at each other at a bus stop in Johor has recently gone viral on social media.
This comes after one of them allegedly tried to cut the queue, which enraged the other man before it descended into pure chaos.
2 grown men throw punches at Johor bus stop
In the more than 1-minute long clip shared to the Facebook group JB新山吹水站2.0, it began with the duo, an Indian and a Chinese man, landing blows on each other’s faces.
In fact, their fight got so heated that an innocent female bystander was briefly caught in the crossfire, where the back of her head was slightly hit by one of the men’s fist.

As the fight persisted, the men eventually came to an impasse, with the Chinese man pushing the Indian man up against a bus while taking a few more blows to the face.

Eventually, several bystanders stepped in to break the fight up and physically separated the men from each other. However, it did little to dissuade either one of them from lunging towards their ‘opponent’.

Fight triggered by alleged queue cutting
Although the location of the fight wasn’t disclosed in the clip, it is believed to have taken place at the Johor checkpoint.
As for the reason behind the fight, a netizen who claimed to be at the scene said it transpired after the Indian man tried to cut the queue, reported China Press.
“Many had been waiting in line for a long time and he tried to board the first bus that arrived, where he was told off by a passenger.
“The staff also told him not to cut the queue, but he ignored them completely and tried cutting the queue at another spot, causing the Chinese man to attack him,” said the netizen.

China Press reached out to Johor Bahru South district police chief Raub Selamat for comment but didn’t get a response at the time of writing.
