A 19 year old student injured in the explosion at a private university along Jalan Sri Semantan in Bukit Damansara remains unconscious due to severe head injuries.
City police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed that the student from Johor Baru suffered internal head trauma and a skull fracture.
He is currently in a coma and under close observation at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Doctors are continuing to monitor his condition closely as treatment progresses.

Contractor awaiting surgery for shrapnel injuries
Another victim, a 54 year old contractor, is in a semi conscious state and is also being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. According to police, he is awaiting surgery to remove metal shrapnel lodged in his body following the explosion.
Reported by NST, medical teams are preparing for the procedure while keeping him under constant supervision.
Canteen worker hospitalised for observation
A third victim, a 22 year old Indonesian man who works at the university canteen, sustained minor injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at Sungai Buloh Hospital and has been admitted for observation.
Police said his condition is stable and he did not suffer serious harm.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the cause of the explosion, while families of the victims await further updates from medical teams.
