An 18-year-old student is now fighting for his life after he fell from the sixth floor of an apartment located in Kampar, Perak last night (Oct 15).
Police have since confirmed the incident and hospital staff are currently working to treat the victim, who’s now in a critical condition.
‘We heard an argument’
According to a resident at the apartment named Cai (transliteration), he told Guang Ming Daily that some residents mentioned in a group chat about hearing a verbal argument and the sound of someone yelling at around 8.10pm.
20 minutes later, he said a woman was heard screaming that someone had fallen. The victim was later discovered lying at the parking lot and rushed to the hospital.

Victim in critical condition
When contacted by Sin Chew Daily, Kampar police chief Superintendent Mohamad Nazri Daud said police received a report at 9.15pm and immediately rushed to the scene.
He said preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, who is a university student, had fallen from the sixth floor of the 16-storey apartment at around 8.30pm.
He added the victim had rented a room about a month ago and that police found a large amount of medication inside.

“Medical personnel arrived at the scene and found the victim in a critical condition before rushing him to Kampar Hospital for treatment. His mother has been contacted and informed of the situation.”
