A 17-year-old student was seriously injured after he rode his motorcycle against traffic and collided head-on with a car along Jalan MKH Boulevard 2, Jalan Bukit, yesterday.
Just finished SPM
According to China Press, the teen had just completed his SPM examination before taking to the road on an unlicensed motorcycle.
He was also carrying a 20-year-old male pillion rider and was seen riding against the flow of traffic, in violation of road rules, right before the crash.

Rode against traffic
Kajang District Police Chief Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said investigations confirmed that the teen ignored road direction signs and entered the opposite lane, where he collided with an oncoming car driven by a 30-year-old man.
Police also found that he did not possess a valid motorcycle licence.
Rider broke his arm
The impact of the collision threw both the rider and pillion rider onto the road before they were rushed to Kajang Hospital.
The teen suffered leg injuries and a fractured left arm, while the pillion rider and the car driver were unhurt.

The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
Before the police confirmation, a 37-second video had already gone viral on social media showing the motorcycle travelling against traffic before crashing into the oncoming car.
