Parents often mean well and want what’s best for their children, but sometimes they may unintentionally hurt their children by using a harsh tone of voice when disciplining them.
A teenage boy stormed out of his home in Kuantan as he was angry after getting an earful from his family members and has yet to return.

In a statement by Kuantan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu the missing teen was 16-year-old Mohamad Harraz (transliteration), who lived in Taman Cenderawasih Perdana, reported Sin Chew Daily.
He said the report was lodged by Mohamad’s father, who discovered his son’s disappearance after returning home around 3.30pm on Wednesday (June 11) after picking his younger son from school.

“His father searched surrounding areas but was unable to find him. He also tried calling him via phone multiple times, but no one answered.
“He also asked his son’s friends about his whereabouts but no one knew where he was,” he said.
After failing to find his son, Mohamad’s father lodged a police report. The teen was last seen on Wednesday at around 3.15pm.

“It is understood that the teen left with a mobile phone, a power bank, and some cash. He was also seen wearing black track pants and a white T-shirt.
Preliminary investigations suggest he may have run away after feeling upset over being scolded by family members,” said Wan Mohd Zahari.
Police are still investigating the incident and those with information or have seen Mohamad are urged to contact the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.
