When we were teenagers, we often would butt heads with our parents whenever they disagree with our views or don’t give in to our demands.
A teenage girl in KL walked out from her home behind her parents’ back after she became upset over not being allowed to celebrate her friend’s birthday and has yet to return.

According to a report by Harian Metro, the 15-year-old girl was reported to have run away from the house in Brickfields on Jan 3.
Brickfields district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said in a statement that investigations revealed the girl had informed her family about her plan to attend a friend’s birthday party outside of the Klang Valley.
However, she wasn’t allowed to do so and decided to take things into her own hands by walking out from the house without her parents’ knowledge.

Following the report regarding her disappearance, police began looking for her and eventually found her at her friend’s house and advised her to go home.
“However, she has yet to return home as of now and police have opened a Police Inquiry Paper (KEP) under the missing persons category,” he said.
Ku Mashariman also urged members of the public with any information to contact the Brickfields Police Hotline at 03-22979222, the Kuala Lumpur Police Hotline at 03-21159999, or the nearest police station.
