A teenage boy has recently gone viral online for all the wrong reasons after a woman confronted him for allegedly stealing some goods at a supermarket.
Local media later reported that the teen eventually surrendered to the police, who are now probing the incident.
Teen accused of theft
According to the video, the teenager was carrying his younger sister when he was stopped by a store employee at a supermarket in Bandar Seri Jempol, Negeri Sembilan, at around 8pm last Friday (July 11).

When the staff asked the teen to open up his bag for checking, several packets of black pepper sauce and mayonnaise which totaled up to RM41 were found without proof of purchase.
At that moment, a woman believed to be the teen’s mother arrived and pleaded with the staff to let her son go.

However, the employee refused and said, “If you’re aware that your son is guilty, you shouldn’t be asking to let him go.”
Father attacks guard to aid son’s escape
As the situation escalated, a security guard kept close watch on the teenager to stop him from escaping.
Moments later, the teen’s father showed up and tried to negotiate with the staff for his son’s freedom, but they declined.

Sensing that there was no other way to get out of the situation, the teen’s father resorted to pulling his son away from the guard and physically attacking him before the entire family fled the scene in their car.

Teen surrenders to police
