A motorcycle ride involving three minors ended in tragedy after it crashed into a tree along Jalan Taman Musytari, killing two and leaving another critically injured.
The incident occurred at around 5.55pm on Saturday (Dec 13) when a 13 year old girl was riding a Honda C100 motorcycle with two passengers, aged 10 and 13.
Reported by Berita Harian, Jempol District Police Chief Superintendent Norhisham Mustapar, the group was travelling from Taman Mawar towards Taman Musytari when the accident happened.
Upon reaching the location, the teenage rider is believed to have lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to skid onto the right shoulder of the road before crashing into a tree.

The 13 year old rider suffered severe head injuries, while the 10 year old child who was seated in the middle sustained serious injuries to the head and hands. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The second passenger, a 13 year old girl, sustained severe head injuries and fractures to both legs. She was rushed for medical treatment and remains in critical condition.
Police have classified the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and investigations are ongoing.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information related to the crash to come forward and assist with the investigation.
