12yo M’sian boy dies 8 hours after motorbike accident
The victim was identified as Muhammad Harith Isyraf Yuzaini, who got into a road accident at Jalan Get near Paloh in Johor on Monday (Aug 4).
Kluang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh, said in a statement that police were alerted of the incident when Muhammad’s father lodged a police report in the afternoon.
In the report, Muhammad’s father said his son had been riding a motorcycle and got into an accident while on the way to a shop.

“Investigations found that the victim and his family were visiting an uncle’s house at Jalan Tengah to pay respects following a family member’s passing.
“Upon arriving at the location, the motorcycle ridden by the victim lost control and veered off the road before crashing into a roadside stone barrier on the right,” he said.

Bahrin added Muhammad was taken to a private clinic in Kluang, then to another private clinic in Gelang Patah, where he was referred to Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) in Johor Bahru for further treatment.
Shockingly, Muhammad’s father refused to take him to HSA and instead brought him home, where the boy eventually passed away at 9pm due to abdominal injuries.
Police are currently investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by dangerous driving.
RIP to the victim and our deepest condolences to the family.
